March 17, 2008 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Location
NCSD Building at 148 S. Wilson St., Nipomo, CA
Candidates Eligibility
Candidates for all elected offices must be at least 18 years of age and live in one of the seven Geographic Areas described in the About page.
Geographic Representatives must live in the area they represent.
Special Interest Representatives may live in any of the seven Geographic Areas.
Candidates must submit an application by March 10, 2008 at 6:30 PM. Forms can be downloaded here.
Voters Eligibility
Voters must be at least 18 years of age and live in one of the seven Geographic Areas described in the About page.
Voters can only vote for 2 Geographic Representatives in the Geographic Area the voter resides.
All eligible voters can vote once for each of the Special Interest Representatives.
Important Dates
- February 11, 2008 - First date for candidate applications.
- March 10, 2008 - All candidate applications due by 6:30 PM (may be submitted before Town Hall meeting).
- March 10, 2008 - Meet the Candidates at a Town Hall meeting at the NCSD Building, 148 South Wilson St., Nipomo, starting at 6:30 PM.
- March 17, 2008 - Elections held from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at NCSD Building.
- March 24, 2008 - Final day to contest election results.
- March 24, 2008 - New Council takes office at regular March meeting of SCAC.
